Stand-By Rates
The Emporia Fire Department is often called upon to provide non-emergency stand-by for events such as rodeos, demolition derbys, fireworks displays and others. The following rates have been established for the resources requested. If you have any questions, please call us at 343-4230.
$50.00 per hour for an ambulance and 2 personnel
$25.00 per hour for one EMT and no transport vehicle
$75.00 per hour for stand-by with a fire apparatus
